So we just found out that we are expecting our second baby, and we are set to PCS to Parris Island next month. How is the OB care at the Naval Hospital? Anyone have any recommendations for out-in-town OB care? 

my daughter is almost 2 now so there are probably different drs now but i had a nice experience. I delivered her via c/section at Beaufort Memorial which is where all deliveries are done unless there is a complication 

The OB care at Naval, was really good! I loved Dr. Allen. You rotate and see all of them, and once you have done so, you can just keep making appointments for your favorite Dr. That's what I did, lol. You cannot go out in town, unless you have Tricare Standard. You will have appointments at Naval, but deliver out in town at Beaufort Memorial. I just had my daughter 1 year ago, and my experience was great! Congratulations!! 

I recently went to Dr. Johnson for the Essure procedure rather than OB care. (I delivered my 16 mth old at Lejeune and my 3 y/o at a civian hospital in GA.) I thought Dr. Johnson was great. I would definitely recommend him. 

The doc's at naval are great! I just delivered in Feb and I had a wonderful experience with the doc's! 

Dr Allen is who did my c/s almost 2 years ago. I really liked him as well. I really didnt want the c/s but due to my daughters size and the complications my son had at birth they wouldnt even consider anything else but he really did his best to put me at ease and help me cope with it.
