I am looking for either a battered women shelter or a home for wayward mothers (young girls with babies of their own but noplace to live) to donate a TON of baby clothes (both boy and girl) and eventualy a ton of toys once I get the change to go through my kids rooms. I know I can drop them off at the salvation army thrift or good will but most of the time when you do that the volunteers take the good stuff for themselves and also I want someone to benefit from it imediatly not have it sit on a rack or shelf for a few months then have half of the proceeds go to a landlord/morgage, utilities and such. anyone know of any place either hear in Beaufort or close by like bluffton/HHI or even Savannah or Charleston?
